A little bit about me...

I am a creative and meticulous designer who is always learning to create new solutions to help improve the experience that my users have. I want to make sure their experience is purposeful and fun to use.

People describe me as an innovative and driven team player with strong communication skills and a passion for corporate social responsibility. I'm also skilled in analytical thinking and always eager to learn through new experiences.

When I'm not designing you can find me creating clothes of my own, playing video games, or hanging out with my dog, Milo!

Before UX

I grew up in San Jose, California and received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside. With a passion for fashion, I decided to intern at a PR firm in Tokyo, Japan for two months. While I enjoyed my time there, I ultimately realized that a career in the fashion industry wasn’t for me.

After returning home, I began working in sales and eventually landed a position in the real estate industry selling home loans. I became NMLS certified and dedicated myself to learning all about mortgage loans. However, I was eventually let go from that company via a zoom call.

This led me to take some time off to reflect on my career goals and realize that I wanted a more creative role where I felt like I was making a bigger impact. That’s how I found my way into UX/UI design...

My UX/UI Career

As a UX/UI Designer based in San Jose, California, I am constantly striving to improve the experiences of my users through creative and meticulous design.

My studies with Springboard have not only sparked a passion for UX/UI design, but have also helped me to see the integration of UX and UI in every aspect of my daily life, from physical products to the apps on my phone. Even when playing video games, I find myself analyzing the interface design of the developers.

I am always eager to learn and understand new solutions to enhance the purpose and enjoyment of the user experience. My ultimate goal is to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for all of my users.
